Transosseous RCR

Transosseous RCR

When I was in Dallas, I trained with a professor who designed a novel technique for rotator cuff repair. Traditionally, rotator cuff repair require usage of an anchor or screw implant that is fixed into the bone. the implant include sutures which we can use to sew and reattach rotator cuff tendons that are torn off. In this article, we describe a surgical technique to reattach these tendons without any surgical implants. this is an “anchor-less” or suture-only repair technique. We achieved landmark success and was able to present this study in the International Congress in Korea 2016.
